Walter Mosley, the prolific crime-fiction writer (i.e., ≈ 50 novels), related, at least, three writing tips, which are: write creatively, write about topics that you're passionate about, and don't quit:
- Be Inventive: "[...] play around with words, worlds, and themes."
- Be Honest: "Write your truth [...] Write about the things that matter to you [...]"
- Believe in Yourself: "[...] persistence is key [...] Know that if you keep at it, you will eventually break through."
