Attracted to Truman Capote’s BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S

You know the feeling you get when you're strongly attracted to someone? Well, the same applies to inanimate objects.

It's very important to look out for things in life that you're attracted or drawn to. There's a reason why we're drawn to people and things. If you don't pursue those things you're attracted to, you may be missing out on something important and beneficial in your life.

For example, check out this footnote from the sample chapter of the non-fiction book that I'm working on:

While doing research for this book, I played close attention to any media that I was attracted to. When I found myself attracted to Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s I was a little confused as to how that book would be useful, but I quickly learned that the female protagonist Holiday Golightly married a much older man at the age of thirteen, had lived with a college jock at the age of fifteen, and at the age of eighteen stated that, “I can’t get excited by a man until he’s forty-two.” But I was really shocked when an attractive teenage lipstick lesbian on the MTV show Skins (season one/episode two) masturbated to a picture of Miss Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) from the film adaptation of the novella.

On the Saturday Night Live season premier, which took place on Saturday September 24, 2011,  Alec Baldwin played Texas Governor Rick Perry in a skit titled GOP Debate Cold Opening.

When asked if he could speak for ten seconds without alienating his base? Alec Baldwin replied,

“Now the conservative vice needs to know that Rick Perry stands with them 110%. I believe we need to lower the corporate tax rate. I believe we need fewer regulations. I believe all ten-year-old girls should be vaccinated for HPV, so they can enter into meaningful sexual relationships.

This is going into the book as evidence to support a controversial point.

Greek Motif Manhattan Coffee Cup

This is another photograph that didn't make it into the electronic edition of Katie, but will be in the paperback. This coffee cup played a significant supporting role in the book.
